Q. How high is your rating? A. It's actually quite low. But still I enjoy playing there. It sure beats Yahoo Chess. That's really a bummer! And ICC aka I$$ wants money while basically providing the same chess experience that FICS does. Anyway, here's a screen shot of my stats:
Finger of Blubbie:

Q. Why did you choose the name blubbie.com ?A. Some years ago we caught a small fish while rafting on a river and we decided to give it a name. So, being *NOT* original I named it blubbie. At the same time I needed a name for a free homepage that my provider offered me. And blubbie was the only thing I could think of. When I changed to a payed abo at the same provider I needed a name again. And stickin' with it, I called my homepage blubbieonline. And yes, when I decided to get my own domain on the web, it was an easy decision: blubbie.com just had to be the name! And now you know the story.... Q. And just what kind of fish is blubbie ?A. Dunno, see for yourself. Here is a picture of blubbie in his youth. If you look carefully you will notice that he/she is smiling. Q. Are you a good chess player yourself ?A. Nope. I like the game but I'm not at all good at it. I play on FICS, the Free Internet Chess Server under the name of ............. (yep) ........... blubbie and my rating is among the lowest on the site. Hehehe. |
