How to get to 1900 in chess
Contributed by blubbie
The key to chess improvement is pattern recognition.  Whether you realize it or not, to improve at chess you must reprogram your brain to see things that you did not see before. You can do this by studying at least 20 minutes of tactics per day.

On the site 'How To Get To 1900' you'll find 1,500 tactics problems for you to study and a system for memorizing openings.

You'll find it all explained on this brief review of the research that has been done on chess and cognition.

Guess The Aerial Photo, part 2
Written by someone who is bored
What is the name of this big building in Germany? Here goes the next question: I have placed an aerial photo of some object. This one is in Germany and it has something to do with German men in shorts running on the grass. While they are running they are kicking an object of some kind of which they only use *one* while there are clearly more available. They are very preoccupied with this one object...

Many spectators sitting in a semi circle around them seem to enjoy these events. There is much a do about it this summer because they have invited many other men to join them in some kind of contest. Some fans are dressed in strange ways but they seem to be at easy with the situation. I dug up a quiz for those of you who want to learn more about this.

Enough said. You have to guess the picture. Just write a comment and if you guessed right, I will place another picture.
It's as easy as that...

Contributed by blubbie
It's all about thinking in three dimensions how to drop a ball in a pipe. You find this game in the game menu or just click here and select a game. http://blubbie.com/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,42/
Try it. Some games are addictive.
